My favorite heroes from Lynn’s books are:
1. James MacLeod from “A Dance Through Time”
2. Kendrick de Piaget from “Stardust of Yesterday”
3. The scarred but still devastating handsome Richard de Galtres from “The More I See You”
Honorable Mentions include:
Christopher from “This Is All I Ask”
Lynn has such a great talent and memorable characters. I mean, she has a blind hero in Christopher, but he still manages to be virile, to protect the heroine, and to make me, the reader, swoon. Brava to Ms.Kurland for creating flawed characters that I can’t help loving.
I love to hear how you consciously choose PG. Although I respect the steamier stuff, I much prefer my imagination to having the details laid out (so to speak). Maybe I’m old-fashioned (I do still like a good old Doris Day movie *rolls eyes*) but I suppose it’s the sweet “awwww” factor that pulls me in. *smile*
Brava on the courage not to compromise yourself with the PG status of your books! So many stories are wonderful, suspenseful, riveting, etc., and then you get stuck with a chapter of inventive huffing and puffing. I admire you for sticking to your convictions, and your publisher as well.

I am so glad everyone is enjoying this interview. Keep those comments coming! I agree with Chiron, Nancy and Laurie: it’s wonderful to know there are books out there for every audience, and there is plenty of room in the romance genre for good, old-fashioned love stories that leave the more intimate details to the imagination. I love that Berkley took a chance on Lynn and are still supportive because, as the above comment shave shown, there is definitely a market for PG romance.
Additionally, for those who have enjoyed reading about Lynn, I encourage you to go out and pick up her books. I also want to give you a head’s up:
In about a week, I will be posting an interview with *drum roll please*…. SUNNY, the award-winning author ofMona Lisa Rising and Lucinda, Darkly. She graciously agreed to stop by and chat. I will post more details as they come, so stayed tuned.

Michelle, this is a super interview – kudos!
Lynn, CONGRAUTLATIONS on being #13 on the NTY list!!! I love it that you write PG — I’m like Chiron in that I adored the Doris Day romantic comedies.

Nancy Haddock
